The 1st Asia-Pacific Symposium on Automated Manufacturing of Composites – APAMC 2021 will be held at AMAC, located UNSW Sydney on 23-24 November 2021.
The aim of this symposium is to address trending topics in the area of advanced composites manufacturing using automated technologies and bring together both academia and industrial practitioners in the Asia-Pacific region with Australia leading the efforts. This invitation only event will facilitate the bridge between academic research and industrial applications. APAMC 2021 is expecting delegates from all parts of the composites sector (both locally and internationally) including universities, research institutions, government agencies, material suppliers, manufacturers and other industries. Such diversity will ensure a vibrant, engaging and multifaceted conference. For those unable to attend in person, the event will also include an on-line pod-cast program for registered delegates. APAMC 2021 will have 4 main streams for the oral presentations, Material Enhancement and Characterisation; Process-Property Optimisation; Simulation and Performance Prediction; Design, Integration and Optimisation. Keynote and plenary speakers will include local and international thought leaders. The event is an opportunity for Australian industry and academia to join with leading international technologists across the composites manufacturing sectors.
Student Poster Pitch – Award and Publication Opportunity The event will also include a student 3 min poster pitch, and the opportunity to be selected for an award and publication through a APAMC 2021 Symposium specific journal, and include both in person and on-line student presentations. Start by sending a 2 page abstract for consideration by the Symposium Technical Committee and for the planned short-listed peer review.
Don’t miss this opportunity: For those attending at UNSW Campus, we are arranging for a very special
  • Australian native animal experience.
  • Evening harbour cruise travelling throughout Sydney’s stunning harbour.
Logo – Rich Indigenous Australian Art The Symposium logo has been inspired by indigenous history and art, and includes the logo of AMAC, the convener for the Symposium.
