The rim is a nice project. Just a few comments here and I think you will be off running. First thing that you will want to do is extrapolate the surface on both sides. I used a 1-inch extension on both sides in my quick testing. TruPLAN needs extra surface around the outside of the ply boundary for computation. You may not need or have this area on the tool, just be careful to know where the real limits are when doing the programming. Second is that the Fabric Width parameter for the material under Composites Parameters was set very high (~40 inches). This may have been why you were seeing the error in TruFIBER about the material width. This brings me to my third point. To program for the 1-tow ADC head, you will need to make two tows of half the width in TruPLAN and TruFIBER. The band should be set to .25in, the Fabric width should be set to .125in in the Composites Param, and the warp and weft in the producibility should be set to .125in. When you create the posted output for the ADC machine, it will be smart enough to join the tows together to have the proper single tow path.
